Phuket's famous dessert spot has finally arrived in Ban Tad Thong, Bangkok! Indulge in their renowned soft cloud-like “Shokupan” – a Japanese-style bread with a delightful mushy, sweet, and savory texture that melts in your mouth. That's not all - they offer a range of delectable dipping flavors, including Thai pandan custard, Thai tea, fruit, matcha, etc. And if that's not tempting enough, they also have an array of other mouthwatering menu items, including their toasted bread, steamed bread, and Lava toast. The name "Nueng Nom Nua'' originates from the owner's name, "Nueng," and reflects his desire to offer fresh milk with a fragrant, creamy, and mellow taste, represented by "Nua" in Thai. Originally, he owned a dim sum restaurant with his family in Phuket, catering mainly to tourists. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he had to close the restaurant. Teaming up with a friend, he decided to bring his passion for bread and Phuket's famous Thai pandan custard to Bangkok, creating a dessert destination like no other.

To innovate and stay in tune with current trends, the idea was born to infuse popular elements of Chinese-style cafes into the menu. This innovation primarily involved the integration of ice cream, believed to strongly resonate with the target demographic. Furthermore, the goal was to retain the original Chinese-style aroma, resulting in the creation of an ancient-style ice cream that incorporates original ingredients such as coconut and mung beans as sweeteners. The family came to Bangkok to start a living by selling soy milk. They began in the market near Chulalongkorn University Soi 16 and eventually relocated to Soi 22 four years ago. They stand out with a unique characteristic by using 100% yellow split beans without mixing any additives like powdered milk, peanuts, or artificial fragrances. Its distinctive flavor solely highlights the essence of yellow split beans. For those who like bold flavors, their soy milk promises a memorable experience. Notably, our hot and cold soy milk recipes each offer a different sensation. This restaurant was originally located at Dinso Road and was founded in 1964. They are well-known for their freshly baked pastries and milk beverages. The star of the show? Their iconic takeaway steamed bread with their signature coconut custard is available in Original Coconut Egg Custard or Pandan Coconut Custard, a must-try that promises a burst of flavors in every bite. And as for their milk beverage—well, it’s simply beyond words. You have to taste it to believe it! The origin of Mon Nom Sod began in the year 2507 by Mr. Mon Wanitsakul. At that time, he was an employee at a coffee shop, brewing and serving coffee to customers. He had been in this profession for over 15 years until one day, the owner of the building reclaimed it from the coffee shop where he worked as an employee. This forced the famous coffee shop to shut down. However, due to his knowledge and experience in coffee brewing, Mr. Mon still wanted to continue selling coffee. This time, he switched to selling coffee from a pickup truck, which was in the same area where he used to work as an employee. This allowed his regular customers to find him just like before. Mr. Mon's business gradually grew, attracting more customers. As a result, he began expanding his product offerings from just coffee to including toasted bread and fresh milk which has been the star of Mon nom sod until now.
